Special Ability

Taco has the unique ability to earn Alchemist class experience from Dungeons.

Additionally, when Taco attacks (It does need to be evo'd), it gives a buff to a party member that does not already have a buff from Taco. Taco's targeting is based on certain conditions depending on the buff type, detailed below.

The Element of the buff chosen will be based on which elemental resistance Taco has the most of. If Taco has equal resistances in any element, the buff will be randomly chosen between the resists that share the highest amount.

Each of the effects below cap at CL50

: Taco will target the pet with the highest Attack. The next attack deals additional (class level)%, and (class level/2)% of targets current health (non boss only).

: Taco will target the pet with the lowest remaining percentage of HP. The next attack against this pet, heals the target for (class level *2)%. If the pet dies this turn, it is resurrected with (class level/4)% health.

: Taco will target the pet with the lowest Defense. Reduces the damage taken from next attack by (class level/2)%. This is multiplicative with other bonuses. Additionally, it will reflect (class level)% of the damage (unmitigated) against non-bosses.

: Taco will target the pet with the highest Speed. For the next turn, this pet has (class level)% chance to inflict additional damage equal to (class level)% on each hit.

Fire Taco is good for Infinity Tower since all enemies there are non-boss enemies. Especially in Neutral Tower, where having a single strong damage-dealer that Taco can further buff, this is a decent farming strategy. Water Taco makes a good second "supporter" if your team doesn't have enough healing but you don't have a spare Supporter class. Wind and Earth Taco types are situational, but do have their uses in certain strategies for some of the tougher fights in the game.

Another note is that a Mage’s MultiAttack counts as an all or nothing.  Taco's Fire ability will buff only the first hit of the MultiAttack, but the Wind ability will grant the chance of bonus damage to the MultiAttack as a whole, not by individual attacks within it.  Yes, this means that a CL100 Mage with 8 attacks will have ALL of the attacks in that MultiAttack buffed by Wind… or it will have none in that MultiAttack.  Fire, however, will only proc on the first hit.
